Jessica is delighted to return to Savannah to sing concerts and events for National Opera Week with The Savannah Voice Festival.
Ms. Best is delighted to return to the score of Jane Eyre, by Louis Karchin for a new recording! Ms. Best performed the roles of Bessie and Mary Rivers in 2016, with The Center for Contemporary Opera. The recording will be released this year on the Naxos label.
Ms. Best is delighted to make her Carnegie Hall debut as the mezzo soloist in a world premiere of International Carol Suite by composer, Mark Hayes! This beautiful Christmas suite is performed in multiple languages and brings the spirit of the season to New York City!

Jessica is delighted to return to the Rochester Oratorio Society to sing the mezzo soli in Handel’s oratorio, Judas Maccabaeus.
Ms. Best looks forward to returning to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, NY for her third season singing the role of The Mother in Menotti’s, Amahl and the Night Visitors. Matt Marco conducts the Westminster Presbyterian Choir and orchestra.
Jessica is honored to announce her debut with LA OPERA in Gordon Getty’s, The Canterville Ghost, in the role of Mrs. Otis. The Canterville Ghost is a comic opera, based on the short story by Oscar Wilde.

Jessica is pleased to return to The Savannah Voice Festival in August 2018 to direct Camp Voice again! Camp Voice is a program that works with students ages 15-21 on opera, art song, and musical theater.
Jessica is pleased to join The Finger Lakes Choral Festival this summer for a wonderful concert of opera’s most wonderful melodies.
As a Co-Founder of Soundspace; a new presenting company in Rochester for contemporary music, Jessica is thrilled to premiere the first performance of Soundspace!
Soundspace will feature the dynamic cello and clarinet duo: T.J. Borden and Madison Greenstone. Jessica is thrilled to open the performance with some contemporary arias; partnering with Dr. Beverly Smoker on piano.
The concert begins at 7:30 PM. Donations of $5-10 are welcome.
The Light We Hold is a multidisciplinary show which uses dance, poetry, and music to explore the curious characteristics of light.
Jessica is thrilled to partner with her friends; Amy Sullivan, choregrapher, and Christine Sullivan, writer.

Jessica will be the new director of Camp VOICE this summer! Camp VOICE is a part of The VOICExperience summer program in Savannah, Georgia, and The Savannah Voice Festival. Ms. Best will direct, plan curriculum, teach voice lessons, stage direct, and facilitate the program of talented students; ages 15-21.

Ms. Best will perform the role of Marcellina with Nickel City Opera in one of the most beloved opera of all time, Le Nozze di Figaro, by W. A. Mozart.
Ms. Best will perform as one of the feature artists at the Savannah Voice Festival. The concert will feature the great canons of opera, musical theater and song repertoire.
Ms. Best will perform the roles of Ciesca in Puccini’s Gianni Schicci and the Abbess Suor Angelica.

Ms. Best is Quarterfinals contestant in the American Traditions Competition in Savannah, Georgia! She will compete with nine different genres of American music in live rounds this February!
V.O.I.C.Experience: Opera as Drama will feature events honoring the 80th birthday celebration of its founder, baritone, Sherrill Milnes.
Performances, master classes and gala dinners occur throughout New York City: including the NATIONAL OPERA CENTER.
Ms. Best will also lead an outreach team this week; bringing master classes and performances into the community.
